to Christopher St–Sheridan Sq station (Uptown/242 St-bound trains only).(If on a downtown/South Ferry-bound train, transfer at Chambers St to an uptown train.)
Walk west on Christopher St.
to W 4 St–Washington Sq station. (No 
service – see below)Walk west on W 4 St (away from NYU). Turn left on Christopher St.

South Ferry-bound trains run express from 14 St to Chambers St. No service between 34 St–Herald Square and Atlantic Av–Barclays Center.
No service between 14 St–Union Square and 8 Av.
